TRANS CLOSET

Trans Closet is a totally free thrift store/clothing swap pop-up with non-gendered sizing in a trans-friendly environment. Facilitated by Genderbands and hosted in various locations in SLC and Utah Counties throughout the year.

Accessibility Information: St. Mary's is wheelchair accessible.

Additional Information: Trans Closet will be hosted by Rainbow Retreat, which is presented by Queer Community Allies and Flourish Therapy. "Come for the food, crafts, and activities. Stay for the SHENANIGANS." All ages are welcome. No drugs or alcohol allowed. Snacks provided.

Accessibility Information: the space Rekindled & Co has graciously donated is upstairs, and unfortunately there are no elevators in the building. DONATION GUIDELINES

  • Clothes must be washed before donating.

  • No torn or stained clothing.

  • We can accept UNUSED makeup and hair products.

  • We can also accept shoes, wigs, hats, and of course chest binders.

  • We will also accept donations of clothes hangers.

FAQ

Will chest binders be available at the Trans Closet?

Right now, chest binders are available at the Genderbands office in Orem. If you or someone you know is in need of a chest binder, email info@genderbands.org to set up an appointment to have a binder fitting!

How do I donate?
